The leisure and tourism trade has not lagged behind other trades, and for the prospective traveller, it is possible to book every aspect of a trip via the Internet.  Large numbers of hotels are obtaining Web sites from which they advertise their services and amenities, and encourage people to E-mail for further information, for brochures to be sent and to book rooms.
