"Remember the qualities that form the foundation of success: discipline, self-confidence, determination and perserverance." --- Ara Parseghian

The ChemTeam is, of course, under constant construction (especially in the summer). Suggestions for improvement or areas to cover as well as corrections of errors (but no requests for help with homework) are welcome. Please contact the ChemTeam at ChemTeam@clubnet.net

Many browsers cannot yet display superscripts and subscripts. Make sure you do not become confused when using ChemTeam materials, if you are using such a browser. Be careful to have your materials (text, lecture notes, class handouts) which properly display superscripts and subscripts close at hand. The ChemTeam was proofed on a Macintosh using Netscape 3.01 set at 14 pt. Monaco (fixed or monospaced font) and 14 pt. New Century Schoolbook (proportional font).

The ChemTeam has noticed that Netscape sometimes gets the subscript and superscript wrong if the item falls on the left-hand edge of the window. If you see this, resize your window slightly smaller so the offending item is now at the end of a line at the right-hand window edge. If it is still incorrect, please e-mail the ChemTeam at ChemTeam@clubnet.net and the file will be fixed.

The ChemTeam recommends you turn image loading off and selectively load graphics as you need them. Where problem solving techniques and solutions are explained with graphics, this will create opportunities for self-testing.

If your teacher says something that seems different from what the ChemTeam is saying, please do not approach your teacher and say something like: "Well, you're wrong because some guy on the Internet is saying something different." If a student were to say that in the ChemTeam's classroom, the reaction would not be a happy one. If you feel your teacher is wrong about the chemistry, you approach them privately with chemical and mathematical support and do so in a polite manner. There is an excellent chance your teacher will appreciate the help.

Best wishes in your studies.
